These images I was required to take for an assignment in my digital journalism class were something, at first; I was not excited to do. I have never used a Digital-single-lens-reflex (DSLR) camera before, and when I began to take pictures with it I began to realize how much skill it takes to be a great photographer. The camera featured so many different instruments and settings that it can overwhelm people. After testing what each mode and setting did I figured which ones I liked the best and began to really enjoy taking these pictures. I wanted to show ordinary things in a different perspective so you would be able to see them in a different way. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
